May 18 is coming upon us and it’s time to start planning trips to view Mount Saint Helens.
This is not a group tour, but a couples or family tour. Maximum 2 couples (or a 2 and 3) in our comfortable SUV. You may get a private tour if no one books!
We pick you up at your hotel, the airport or pier and off we go to see the massive destruction caused in 1980. There are 2 visitor centers; one has the actual footage taken during the volcanic eruption. The second one has a model of what it probably looked like if you were standing in the direction of the blast. Both extremely interesting, informative and profound.
We stop several times along the way for photo opportunities, lunch, and short walks in the area. Lunch included and nice water bottles are yours to keep.
